1. Please ensure that you understand what information we process, what communications you may expect and how to ensure you get the most out of being our customer. Your use of this website and any of the services offered on this website will be subject to the current version of our terms of use available on this website at the time of your use.
2. Our terms of use contain specific provisions to limit our liability. We reserve the right, without notice and in our sole and absolute discretion, to make changes to these terms of use. Such changes will take effect when they are published. It is expressly recorded that should there be any material changes to these terms of use, we will endeavour to notify you thereof. Customers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the content of these terms of use on a regular basis. 
3. You must be over the age of 18 (Eighteen) to utilise our website unless we have obtained the explicit consent of your parent or legal guardian.  
4. Registration and/or use of our online shopping services constitutes your acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms of use.

6. All products displayed on our website are subject to availability and will be delivered only within the Republic of South Africa to areas where we deliver. All prices shown on our website are quoted in South African Rands and are valid and effective only in the Republic of South Africa. We reserve the right to discontinue or change the specifications of our products and services from time to time without notice. We will inform you as soon as possible if any products or services ordered by you are not available. 
7. We cannot always guarantee stock availability and will deliver a substitute product, if possible, where you have authorised us to do so. If we are unable to supply certain items or quantities ordered, you nevertheless agree to accept delivery and make payment for the items delivered. 
8. We regret that no order will be accepted if we identify a material error in the description of any of our goods or services or their prices on our website. Packaging may vary from that shown on our website. 
9. Alcohol may only be purchased by customers who are 18 years or older.  
10. Alcohol sales are subject to each province’s liquor laws and regulations as well as the Disaster Management Act 1957 (Act no.57 of 2002)’s Covid-19 Lockdown Regulations and each store’s license requirements. 
11. The maximum amount of alcohol that may be purchased by any individual is 150 Litre. 
12. Certain offers and communications will be sent to you via direct marketing channels including email. It remains your responsibility to ensure that we always have your correct contact details to ensure that you receive your offers and communications. We cannot accept responsibility if you do not receive certain offers and communications because you provided us with incorrect contact details. 
13. By supplying us with your personal information and by consenting thereto, you agree to receive direct marketing communications from us on your chosen communication channel insofar as it relates to the products and services offered on our website. 
14. If, at any time, you wish to withdraw your consent to the aforementioned receipt of your direct marketing communications, you will be entitled to do so by contacting us at https://www.buydop.co.za/contact-buydop/
15. Should you have opted-in to receive direct marketing communications, you may opt out from any of the above-mentioned channels, either when you first subscribe to become our client or at any time thereafter. 16. You will be charged the prices that are reflected on our website , subject to availability and delivery address. Prices and promotions may vary on our website. Certain products are variable/random mass items. The average mass of such products may be indicated online as a guide to the cost; you will be charged slightly more or less, depending on the actual weight of the product delivered to you. The prices include Value-Added Tax. Special promotions may be subject to certain conditions, including stock availability and limited offer stipulations. Special promotions apply only to items on your original order (i.e. not on items which are added after the order was placed). 
17. A delivery fee will be charged for each order you place. The value of the delivery charge will be reflected on the payment page where the total cost of your basket will be displayed. Orders over a certain value may qualify for free delivery. 
18. When you place your order, funds equal to the total value of your order will be deducted from the card you are paying with during the checkout process. We do our utmost to ensure that all items ordered are in stock, but if any items are out of stock you will be refunded for those items within 10 days. 
19. By submitting your order, identity number and payment card details you warrant that you are authorised to make payment with the payment card and that there are sufficient funds available to pay for the order. 
20. We deliver Monday – Saturday all year round. Public Holidays are subject to special delivery times. Alcohol deliveries may not be legally permitted on Sundays in certain provinces in the Western Cape, wine may only be delivered after 11am on Sundays.
21. We reserve the right to withdraw our services to individual customers’ addresses subject, but not limited, to the following:
• Dangerous delivery conditions that pose a health and safety risk for our delivery drivers and/or any assistant; 
• Unavailability of free suitable, and legal, parking and offloading space; 
• Excessive distance between the vehicle offload point and the final customer handover point, including any unreasonable requirement or expectation to climb stairs or negotiate other physical obstacles; 
• Repeated unavailability of an authorised signatory to take delivery; 
• Repeat and excessive returns that misuse the reasonable nature of the service; 
• Repeat and/or excessive short supply or damage claims for which responsibility or liability cannot be determined. 
22. We cannot accept responsibility for the provision of an incorrect delivery address. We will deliver to the address provided at point of order submission. This delivery address is clearly displayed throughout the online shopping experience and can easily be changed at any point up until final payment confirmation.  
23. The sale and delivery of liquor is subject to national and provincial laws. Accordingly, we may not accept orders for delivery of liquor where this is prohibited. Alcohol purchases will require proof of age on delivery. If such proof is not supplied, your order may be cancelled. 
24. Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice. The driver will try to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required. Our liability for any delay in delivery is limited to re-delivery at a later agreed time at no additional charge. 
25. On delivery, you will receive our delivery note showing a summary of the items delivered.  We will email a detailed tax invoice to you showing the product price details, the delivery fees, Value-Added Tax and the amount debited from your payment card. You or your authorised representative will be asked to sign a duplicate copy of the delivery note to confirm receipt. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. 
26. We also reserve the right to withdraw our service to individual customers subject, but not limited, to the following: 
• Repeated unavailability of an authorised signatory to take delivery during the assigned collection slot; 
• Excessive returns that misuse the reasonable nature of the service; and 
• Repeat and/or excessive short supply or damage claims for which responsibility cannot be determined. 
27. Goods must be signed for upon collection, by yourself, or by a nominated representative who must be aged 18 (Eighteen) or above. Under no circumstances will goods be left unattended or with anybody below the age of 18 (Eighteen). 
28. If you do not contact us to rearrange collection within 24 hours of the start of the original collection slot, the order will be cancelled, and the cost of your order (excluding the cost of perishable items) will be refunded to you. For the avoidance of doubt, we reserve the right to retain the cost of perishable items when the service has been provided in accordance with these terms. 
29. For the avoidance of doubt, no collection service will be provided by us for post-delivery returns and our delivery agents are not authorised to accept goods for return on delivery. 
30. Your refund will be processed on the card you originally used to pay with, as specified on your online dispatch note. Please note: You cannot receive a cash refund for items purchased online. 
31. If you cancel your payment for any reason or if your payment card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will remain liable for the full purchase price, including all related costs. We reserve the right to cancel any sale and/or your registration in the event of a breach of any of these terms.  
32. For the avoidance of doubt, the ownership and risk associated with your goods will be held by us up to and until the point at which they are handed over to you during delivery. Any damage, disappearance or theft of goods post-delivery will become the responsibility of the person who placed and or received the order. 
33. We are a company that our customers trust through sales at our stores and via our digital channels. We understand your concerns with security and your peace of mind and safety are of the utmost importance to us. As a result, we have developed highly secure online ordering facilities on our website. This is specifically intended to give you confidence when you use your credit/debit card to shop with us, but also when you entrust us with your personal details like addresses and phone numbers. We comply with all the necessary compliance regulations in effect and as such have partnered with one of the leading experts in the field of secure payments when it comes to the protection of our customers data. 
34. We shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed, incorrect or incomplete orders for any reason whatsoever. 
35. In the event that we are found to be liable in respect of any claim(s) in connection with this website or any order placed or any related discounts, its liability will not exceed the monetary value of the discount, regardless of the reason for its liability, whether it stems from contract, statute or delict, save to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by applicable law. 
36. The closing date for any competition will be as stated. The judges cannot accept responsibility for late entries. 
37. We will be entitled to all right, title and interest in all entries submitted, including all intellectual property rights. Entrants must do all things necessary, including the execution of any requisite documentation to transfer such rights to us, as and when requested. 
38. Any entrant may be required to submit proof of age. If you are not yet 18 (Eighteen) years old you will be required to obtain your parents’ or legal guardians’ advance authorisation, permission and consent to participating in a competition or any of the related activities. If you fail to obtain such consent you may not participate in the competition or the related activities.
